Navigations is a book club that travels to destinations near and far via the literature of place. Every month I will choose a location and feature three works of literature by native writers that exemplify the essence of that place. I will explore the reasons why each work is essential, how it embodies the spirit of a that place, and suggestions on what to read next. Each month will also feature a wine, beer, or cocktail (and mocktails) from that region as well as a few movies for your viewing pleasure. Whether you’re an avid reader prepping for a trip to Botswana or an armchair traveler in love with Greece, Navigations is your one stop destination for world literature.
